EC team portraits officers board 112013 Errico ThomasThomas J. Errico, MD (Hospital for Joint Disease, New York City). Dr. Errico is chief of the division of spine surgery at New York University and The Hospital for Joint Diseases. He is also a full professor of both orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. He has a clinical interest in spinal deformity surgery and recognized by several publications.

 

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Errico served as president of the North American Spine Society and International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery. He’s served on several boards and committees of other medical societies and organizations, and works to attract other experts to the spine surgery field.

 

Dr. Errico earned his medical degree at New Jersey Medical School and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Medical Center. His additional training includes a fellowship in spine surgery at Toronto General Hospital in Canada.
