CompTIA released a study, “Third Annual Healthcare IT Insights and Opportunities,” that includes responses from 350 surveyed physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers or administrators and 400 IT firms and healthcare IT practices.
Results showed that more than half of healthcare professionals currently use a smartphone for work purposes and approximately 38 percent of physicians with mobile devices use medical-related apps daily. Furthermore, two-thirds of healthcare providers said implementing or improving their use of mobile technologies is a high or mid-level priority for the next year.
