Medical Society of Delaware Names Dr. Randeep Kahlon President

Randeep S. Kahlon, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and professor in the department of physical therapy at the University of Delaware in Newark, has been elected president of the Medical Society of Delaware, according to a UDaily news report.

Dr. Kahlon is a partner with First State Orthopaedics in Newark, Del., and has experience as team physician for the Cleveland Indians. He also spent time as a volunteer surgeon in Haiti after the earthquake in 2010.

Dr. Kahlon earned his medical degree at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark and completed additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, microvascular surgery and trauma care.
