John Ratliff, MD (Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford, Calif.).

Dr. Ratliff is vice chair, operations and development in the department of neurosurgery at Stanford University. He is also a member-at-large for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and corresponding secretary to the Council of State Neurosurgical Societies.

 

Before joining Stanford, Dr. Ratliff was a professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia and director of spine and peripheral nerve surgery at Rush University School of Medicine in Chicago. Last year he earned the Walsh Foundation Research Grant from the Walsh Foundation. His clinical interests include spinal reconstructive surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Ratliff earned his medical degree at Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. His additional training includes a fellowship at New York University Medical Center.
