Indiana University Names Dr. Randall Loder Chair of the Orthopedic Surgery Department

Randall T. Loder, MD, was recently named the new chair of the Indiana University department of orthopedic surgery, according to a university news release.

He is a professor of orthopedic surgery at IU and previously served as vice chair and interim chair of the department. He is a member of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His research interests include pediatric hip disorders, fracture, trauma and measurement variability in pediatric orthopedics.

Dr. Loder earned his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and completed his residency at the Medical College of Ohio. His additional training includes a fellowship at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Crippled Children in Dallas.
