1. Dr. Meier is known for treating patients with advanced orthopedic solutions and stem cell technology.
2. Dr. Meier expects to use this treatment on many more patients in the future due to the growing interest in regenerative medicine and the high incidence of chronic low back pain.
3. The treatment included injections along the lumbar region of the spine, which were supplemented by PRP prolotherapy to the supporting ligaments and sacroiliac joint.
4. Stem cell therapy is proving highly successful for numerous conditions including sports injuries, rotator cuff tears, ACL injuries and osteoarthritis.
5. Dr. Meier earned his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill., completed his residency at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago and completed his fellowship at the University of California San Diego.
