The practice has provided medical services for local middle and high schools for more than 15 years. The practice also donated more than $250,000 back to local schools over the past five years for athletic trainers to purchase equipment in addition to their existing budget. The schools also use donated money for practice T-shirts, Under Armour game shirts, rehabilitation equipment, team plaques and student athletic trainer field trips, according to the report.

The physicians at Houston Methodist Orthopedics & Sports Medicine focus on fracture care, sports injuries, degenerative joint conditions and trauma. The practice’s 25,000-square-foot facility includes running and throwing lanes, a human performance lab, specialized hand and rehabilitation therapies and licensed fitness trainers.
