The program provides peer support and education to people with lupus and their families. The program is offered at no cost to people with lupus, and trained volunteers provide education and support in both English and Spanish.
The program began in 1994, and since then 50 volunteers have contributed more than 20,000 hours of services working with more than 30,000 clients.
