George A. Frey, MD (Colorado Comprehensive Spine Institute, Englewood). Dr. Frey is founder of the Colorado Comprehensive Spine Institute. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in complex cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal procedures.
Colorado Comprehensive Spine Institute is a multidisciplinary practice. Dr. Frey previously served as associate clinical professor at the University of Colorado, Health Sciences and was chief of spine surgery in 2005. He is also a member of the Spine Universe editorial board. He holds several patents worldwide for medical devices, technologies and methods.
Dr. Frey earned his medical degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. His additional training includes a residency and spine surgery fellowship at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago.
