1. The GE National Hip and Knee Replacement Centers of Excellence Program offers its members six facilities to choose for their joint replacement surgery. The program offers a bundled payment model.
2. The GE program members who live out-of-state now have the option of traveling to UH Case Medical Center in Cleveland or UH Conneaut (Ohio) Medical Center.
3. Due to the rising cost of joint replacement procedures, companies are looking to partner with healthcare organizations.
4. In April, Chicago-based Rush Health signed a direct employer contract to provide orthopedic and spine surgeries to United Airlines’ employees.
