Dr. Neal ElAttrache Performs Shoulder Surgery on Pitcher Jonathan Broxton

Mr. Broxton was placed on the disabled list in May 2011 with a bone spur in his right elbow. He didn’t decide to undergo surgery until September. Dr. ElAttrache was able to remove the bone spur and loose bodies, which will most likely allow Mr. Broxton to begin pitching again for spring training.

Mr. Broxton is now a free agent and is not expected to return to the Dodgers.
