Dr. Buehler, a Republican, will be challenging incumbent Kate Brown, a Democrat. So far in his campaign, he has collected more than $161,000. He is a past president and managing partner for the Center for Orthopedic and Neurosurgical care and Research.
Dr. Buehler earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore and completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland. His additional training includes a lower extremities reconstruction fellowship at the Scripps clinic and Research Foundation in San Diego.
