Dr. Stohmeyer earned his medical degree at Baylor College of medicine in Houston, and received his orthopedic training at Tripler Medical Center in Hawaii while serving in the U.S. Army. He served 11 years in the military as an attending orthopedic surgeon at Fort Hood, Texas.
