4. Dr. Andrews removed bone chips from Mr. Barrett’s elbow and shaved down a bone spur.
5. Dr. Andrews, founding member of Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Ala., is one of the most prominent sports medicine physicians in the United States.
6. He is a past president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and is a senior consultant for the Washington Redskins.
