Dr. Doug Hiller Joins North Hawaii Community Hospital

Doug Hiller, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, joined North Hawaii Community Hospital after two years of running Hiller Orthopedics in Lander, Wyo., according to a hospital news release.

Before running his practice in Wyoming, Dr. Hiller spent 20 years practicing in West Hawaii, and served as the chief physician for the IRONMAN World Championships and chief medical officer for the Olympic Triathlon. Dr. Hiller has a professional interest in foot and ankle care, sports medicine and fracture care.

Dr. Hiller graduated from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his residency at the Campbell Foundation in Memphis, Tenn. His additional training includes fellowship in total joint replacement research at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, foot surgery at Campbell and sports medicine at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C.
