Carle’s orthopedic, sports medicine center receives Illinois state board approval

The Illinois Health Facilities and Services Review Board approved The Carle Foundation’s plan for a $23 million outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine center in Champaign, Ill., according to a report by The News-Gazette.

The 52,000-square-foot facility will bring Carle’s orthopedics and sports medicine services under one roof. It will feature exam rooms, a therapy gym and space for sports enhancement training. The project is expected to being in September and is slated to be completed by 2017, according to the report.
