Alan Moelleken, MD (The Spine and Orthopedic Center, Santa Barbara, Calif.). Dr. Moelleken is a board certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in spine surgery. He has been the chairman of the monthly Tri-County Spine Conference for the past several years and is a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Moelleken also has an interest in research. He has published several articles in professional journals and stays up-to-date with the latest technology in spine surgery.
Dr. Moelleken earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and he went on to complete a residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received spine fellowship training in neurosurgery and orthopedic surgery from New York University.
