In the letter, he mentions the successes Orthopaedic PAC has experienced over the past few years, including a 90 percent success rate in 2010 for the Congressional races it participated in. The critical issues facing orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Berry writes in the letter, include the sustainable growth rate, tort reform, preserving in-office coordinate care, anti-trust reform and the repeal of the Independent Payment Advisory Board.
