Lemak Sports Medicine and Orthopedics, based in Birmingham, Ala., has opened a new office in Hoover, Ala., according to a practice news release.
The new office will be led by Amanda Martin, DO, an orthopedic sports medicine physician. She provides a range of orthopedic services and serves as director of the NCAA Soccer Cup. She is also a consultant for Major League Soccer and a team physician for Jacksonville State University.
Dr. Martin earned her DO from Oklahoma State University and completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine under Lawrence Lemak, MD, founder of Lemak Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
Dr. Martin's office is the 10th location for Lemak Sports Medicine.
