Spine surgeons on the move in May

Becker’s reported on multiple spine and neurosurgeons moved to new practices or added to their titles in May.

1. Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital in Port St. Lucie, Fla., added spinal neurosurgeon Bruno Lazaro, MD.

2. Shaden Marzouk, MD, was named CEO of Spire Orthopedic Partners.

3. Khalid Odeh, MD, joined Dearborn-based Michigan Orthopaedic Specialists.

4. The American Association of Neurological Surgeons elected E. Antonio Chiocca, MD, PhD, as president for the 2026-27 term.

5. Spine surgeon Jeffrey Hills, MD, joined SMAIO’s scientific advisory board.

6. Philip Meinhardt, MD, is joining Carthage, Ill.-based Memorial Hospital.
