Spire Orthopedic Partners appoints neurosurgeon as CEO

Shaden Marzouk, MD, was named CEO of Spire Orthopedic Partners, according to a May 4 news release.

Dr. Marzouk previously was CEO of GenesisCare. Before that she was president and CEO of care delivery at Anthem (now Elevance Health). She also worked at AXA and Cardinal Health.

“The organization has built a high-quality network of practices and a strong platform for continued expansion,” Dr. Marzouk said in the release. “I look forward to working with our physicians and leadership team to further enhance our capabilities and deliver excellent outcomes for patients.”

Dr. Marzouk is a neurosurgeon and served as a Major in the U.S. Army. She earned her medical degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine, and she completed her residency at Henry Ford Health in Detroit.
