The CORE Institute welcomed Michael Slesinski, DO, to its Brighton and Novi locations, both in Michigan. He will be the first spine physician at those locations.

 

Neurosurgeon Kevin Vaught, MD, of Regional Brain and Spine in Cape Girardeau, Mo., became the first neurosurgeon in the U.S. to perform a SI joint fusion using the Mazor X system.

 

Neil Malhotra, MD, of Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine performed Pennsylvania’s first endoscopic decompression surgery.
