Provect AI, a medical imaging company, received FDA 510(k) clearance for software that converts standard C-arm X-rays into intraoperative 3D images, allowing spine and orthopedic surgeons to generate CT-like imaging without a CT scanner.
The software, called 3D-Anywhere, is designed to work with existing C-arm systems in hospitals and ASCs, eliminating the need for new imaging hardware or changes to surgical workflow. The platform also integrates with third-party navigation and imaging software using standard DICOM images, according to a July 16 news release.
The clearance comes as more spine and orthopedic procedures move to ASCs, where access to intraoperative CT imaging has traditionally been limited. CMS added key spine CPT codes to the ASC list in 2026, a change the company said is accelerating that shift.
Provect AI also raised $7 million in a financing round led by Arteria Capital and ValueStream Ventures, with participation from Newfund Capital and Sand Hill Angels, to support commercial expansion, customer deployments, product development and clinical adoption.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
