1. Matt Miller, MD, performed Nebraska’s first minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery at Omaha-based OrthoNebraska Hospital.
2. Don Park MD, of Irvine, Calif.-based UCI Health, performed the world’s first endoscopic spinal fusion using augmented reality.
3. Thomas Belknap, MD, performed Northside Hospital Forsyth’s first ultra-minimally invasive endoscopic spine surgery.
4. Banner – University Medical Center Tucson (Ariz.) added endoscopic spine surgery.
5. Ben Burch, MD, of Gainesville, Ga.-based Specialty Orthopaedics performed the state’s first fully endoscopic spinal fusions.
