Banner – University Medical Center Tucson (Ariz.) added endoscopic spine surgery, KVOA reported Sept. 8.
The hospital is the only Banner facility offering uniportal endoscopic spine surgery, the report said. The first patient to have endoscopic spine surgery at Banner – UMC Tucson was able to go home with no pain within about five hours.
Abduljabbar Alhammoud, MD, is one of the surgeons performing endoscopic spine at the hospital.
