Jonesboro, Ark.-based NEA Baptist has added the Mako SmartRobotics system for hip replacement procedures, according to a Jan. 2 report from NEA Report.

Providence Swedish, a partnership between Renton, Wash.-based Providence and Seattle-based Swedish Health, plans to add a Globus GPS robot for back surgeries at St. Peter Hospital, in Olympia, Wash., according to a Dec. 30 report from Thurston Talk.

Muncie-based Central Indiana Orthopedics has acquired its fifth Mako robot and surpassed 3,000 procedures using the technology, according to a Dec. 18 report from The Hamilton County Reporter.

Beaumont-based Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas has added a Mako robot to assist with orthopedic surgeries, according to a Dec. 14 report from the Beaumont Enterprise.
