Jersey City (N.J.) Medical Center added the ExcelsiusGPS spine robot, according to an Oct. 27 announcement in TapInto.net.

New Hartford-based Central New York Brain and Spine Neurosurgery has added an Excelsius GPS robot for spine surgery in partnership with Rome (N.Y.) Health, according to an Oct. 25 report from NBC affiliate WKTV.

Orthopedic robot developer Think Surgical has earned special FDA 510(k) clearance for its TMINI miniature robotic system for use with implants from three additional implant manufacturers. 

HCS Heart and Spine Hospital in Dallas added the Excelsius3D spine imaging system, according to an Oct. 20 LinkedIn post from Chester Donnally, III, MD.

Alabaster, Ala.-based Shelby Baptist Medical Center added the Mako robot system to assist in knee and hip procedures, according to an Oct. 16 report by ABC affiliate WBMA.

Oxford-based Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi recently completed its first total knee replacement with Zimmer Biomet's Rosa robot.

Stryker's Q Guidance spine navigation system surpassed 2,400 surgical cases, the company said Oct. 12.
