Integris Health Edmond (Okla.) Hospital has added a Stryker Mako robot for joint replacement procedures, according to a Nov. 2 report from The Journal Record.

Baltimore-based Mercy Medical Center orthopedic surgeons Marc Hungerford, MD, and Philip Neubauer, MD, have become two of the first surgeons in the state to offer Zimmer Biomet's PersonaIQ "smart implant" technology for knee replacement surgeries. 

New Hartford-based Central New York Brain and Spine Neurosurgery has added an Excelsius GPS robot for spine surgery in partnership with Rome (N.Y.) Health, according to an Oct. 25 report from NBC affiliate WKTV.

Alabaster, Ala.-based Shelby Baptist Medical Center added the Mako robot system to assist in knee and hip procedures, according to an Oct. 16 report by ABC affiliate WBMA.
