Mako Spine is expected to launch during the middle of 2024 and will incorporate upcoming devices, Mr. Lobo said.
“There will be a Mako application … which is terrific,” he said, as transcribed by Seeking Alpha. “But it will also include an additional product that’s coming out of our instruments division that will be used by spine surgeons as well.”
The spine robot’s launch will focus on pedicle screw placement, and Mr. Lobo described it as “a fabulous workflow, faster than what’s on the market today and smoother.”
