Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Aaron Rosenberg dies

Aaron Rosenberg, MD, a total joint surgeon at Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush has died, the practice said in a Feb. 24 announcement.

Dr. Rosenberg, who was 73, played a crucial role in advancing the field of hip and knee replacement, Rush’s LinkedIn post said. He was remembered as a mentor and colleague to physicians, staff and patients.

“His legacy will endure through the lives he touched and the surgeons he helped shape,” Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush said in its post.

Dr. Rosenberg began working at Rush more than 41 years ago, according to his LinkedIn profile. He was director of adult reconstructive surgery.
