40+ orthopedic surgeons on the move in Q1

Here are more than 40 orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine physicians who joined new hospitals and practices in the first quarter of 2026, as reported by Becker’s.

1. Graham (Texas) Regional Medical Center added Scott Hrnack, MD.
2. Napoleon, Ohio-based Henry County Hospital added Andrew Blankenship, DO, to its orthopedics department.
3. Tulsa-based Advanced Orthopedics of Oklahoma added Scott Plaster, MD, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee reconstruction.
4. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston (N.D.) added Brennan Smith, DO, to its orthopedic team.
5. Joseph Brindise, DO, and Shoueb Malik, DPM, joined Barlett, Ill.-based Suburban Orthopaedics.
6. Hays, Kan.-based HaysMed added Adam Wait, DO, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopy and advanced fracture care.
7. St. Mary’s Orthopedic Specialists, part of Athens, Ga.-based St. Mary’s Health Care System, added David Woodbury, MD.
8. Alexander Bisch, DO, a primary care sports medicine physician, joined Golden Valley, Minn.-based Twin Cities Orthopedics.
9. Emily Morgan, MD, joined Rochester (N.Y.) Regional Health’s orthopedic hand surgery team.
10. Kevin Cox, MD, Jose Torres, MD, and Jacob Cox, MD, joined Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute.
11. Ryan Krupp, MD, joined Louisville (Ky.) Institute of Orthopaedics, bringing expertise in sports medicine and complex shoulder reconstruction.
12. Butler (Pa.) Memorial Hospital, part of Greensburg, Pa.-based Independence Health System, added Anthony Mustovich, DO.
13. MaineHealth Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Belfast, Maine, added Zethariah Zielinski, DO.
14. Montclair, N.J.-based Mountainside Medical Group added Mikhail Khaimov, DO, an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and joint replacement.
15. Joachim Tenuta, MD, joined Amsterdam, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Orthopedic Associates.
16. Wudbhav Sankar, MD, was named chief of Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Orthopedic Center.
17. Bradenton-based HCA Florida Blake Hospital named Andres O’Daly, MD, as medical director of orthopedics.
18. Little Rock-based The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences appointed Lowry Barnes, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and joint replacement specialist, as its next chancellor. 
19. Vinton, Iowa-based Virginia Gay Hospital added joint replacement surgeon Collin Haben, DO, to its staff. 
20. Tiffany Bohon, MD, was named chief medical officer of Mizzou Athletics. Orthopedic surgeon Clayton Nuelle, MD, was named head team physician for orthopedics at the organization.
21. Essentia Health-32nd Avenue Clinic in Fargo, N.D., added Temitayo Olabisi, MD.
22. Olympia (Wash.) Orthopaedic Associates added Michael Henry, MD, as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in trauma and acute orthopedic care.
23. Novant Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine added Thomas Kellam, MD, and Daniel Pierce, MD.
24. Garen Ream, DPM, joined Alliance Orthopedics.
25. AdventHealth Medical Group added Shawn O’Keefe, DO, James McFadden, MD, and Sonya Clark, DO. 
26. Norwich, N.Y.-based UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital added orthopedic surgeon Keith Cordischi, MD.
27. Huntington, W.Va.-based Marshall Health Network added Saygin Kamaci, MD, to its orthopedics team. 
28. Clemens Soeller, MD, joined National Park Orthopedic Center in Hot Springs, Ark.
29. Olympia Orthopaedic Associates added Christopher Hawkins, MD.
30. Riverside Orthopedic and Spine Center, part of Kankakee, Ill.-based Riverside Healthcare, added Didi Omiyi, MD. 
31. Grant Nelson, MD, joined University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio.
32. Rock Springs, Wyo.-based Aspen Mountain Medical Center added Andreas Sauerbrey, MD, Michael Sisk, MD, and Darin Allred, MD.
33. Benjamin Szerlip, DO, joined Austin Orthopedic in Texas.
