University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center in Ashland, Ohio, has added Grant Nelson, MD, to its staff, according to a Jan. 11 report from Times-Gazette.
Dr. Nelson is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist, with expertise in ACL reconstruction, complex knee surgeries, shoulder repairs and the treatment of acute sports injuries.
He completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University and residency at UH Cleveland Medical Center. Dr. Nelson also has advanced training from the UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic.
The UH Samaritan Medical Center orthopedic team is led by Robert Leb, MD, the report said.
