Phoenix-based The CORE Institute opened the doors to its newest orthopedic facility in West Phoenix.

Four notes:

1. The new 20,000-square-foot facility expands the orthopedic clinic space by 50 percent.

2. With a variety of specialists on hand, the facility offers sports medicine, spine surgery, hand and upper extremity and foot and ankle care services.

3. Physicians seeing patients at the new location include Robert Cercek, MD, Scott Edwards, MD, David Jackson, MD, Harvinder Kumar, MD, Rene Lucas, MD, Nina Patel-Hinkle, DO, Michael Rose, MD, Ryan Scott, DPM, Brian Seeto, MD, Paramjit Singh, MD, Tharesh Udupa, DPM, and John Wallace-Talifarro, MD.

4. The CORE Institute has 19 orthopedic facilities in locations including Mesa, Ariz., Scottsdale, Ariz., and Peoria, Ariz.
