Here’s what you need to know:
1. The groups teaming up are:
• Vail-Summit Orthopaedics in Vail, Colo.
• The Steadman Clinic in Vail
• Vail Health
• Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail
2. The groups presented their preliminary designs for the 80,000- to 100,000-square-foot facility to the Dillon Town Council Aug. 22.
3. Tom Braun, president of Braun Associates, is representing the group. He told the council the group would work as a campus instead of as a free-standing facility.
4. Recently, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics ended its contract with St. Anthony Summit Medical Center in Frisco, Colo.
5. If the council approves the project, construction is expected to start in the summer of 2019.
