Go4Life is a new national exercise and physical activity campaign for people aged 50 years and older to promote physical activity at every age. ACSM performed research on the effects of physical activity in aging adults and found that exercise can help people stay independent and healthy and prevent chronic conditions associated with aging. Then, Go4Life uses this research to provide older adults with everyday fitness resources.
