1. Intellijoint HIP has been used in over 1,000 total hip replacement procedures in the U.S., Canada and Australia in the past year.
2. The device provides orthopedic surgeons with 3D mini-optical navigation during hip replacement surgery.
3. Peter K. Sculco, MD, of New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery performed the 1,000th case.
4. The company launched 1000 Thanks, a digital collage featuring photos of surgeons, nurses, PAs and others who were involved in the first 1,000 procedures, to celebrate the milestone.
5. The product was commercially launched one year ago.
