Written by Megan Wood | April 12, 2017 | Print  |

San Diego-based NuVasive will highlight its LessRay software technology at the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery Annual Meeting, held from April 12 to 14 in Boca Raton, Fla.

Here are three quick points:

1. The software is a proprietary image-enhancement technology designed to improve images with poor quality and radiation.

2. LessRay improves these images to resemble more conventional full-dose images without interrupting surgical workflow.

3. The technology leverages an algorithm for image registration and management of radiation exposure.
