Dr. Cheney is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. He focuses his practice on ankle arthroplasty, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, fractures and foot/ankle sport injuries. He serves as a clinical reviewer for Orthopedics and his work has been published in journals such as Journal of Foot and Ankle Surgery and Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research.
Dr. Cheney completed his DO at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens and his residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus. He completed a foot and ankle fellowship at the Orthopaedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids.
