Spine surgeons on the move in December

Here are five spine surgeons who have moved to new practices or announced title changes in December:

1. Neurosurgeon Aaron Cohen-Gadol, MD, launched the Atlas Institute of Brain & Spine in Los Angeles.

2. Spine surgeon Drew Albert, MD, joined OrthoWest Georgia and the medical staff of Tanner Health, both in Carrollton, Ga.

3. Spine surgeon Peter McCunniff, MD, joined Advanced Spine And Pain in Phoenix, he said in a Dec. 16 LinkedIn post.

4. Ramin Rak, MD, a spinal neurosurgeon was elected chief of neurosurgery at Smithtown, N.Y.-based St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center and will step into the role Jan. 1.

5. Daniel Park, MD, will join Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago on Jan. 2.
