Dr. Aaron Cohen-Gadol launches spine and neurosurgery practice

Neurosurgeon Aaron Cohen-Gadol, MD, launched the Atlas Institute of Brain & Spine in Los Angeles, according to a Dec. 4 news release.

The practice is focused on complex brain and spine conditions. Dr. Cohen is a pioneer in techniques that remove the most complex brain and spine tumors. He has performed more than 7,500 complex brain surgeries in his career.

His practice is affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Saint John’s Health Center in Los Angeles and Santa Monica, Calif., respectively.

Dr. Cohen earned his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, and he completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
