Overlake Hospital opens new neuroscience, neurosurgery institute: 4 key notes

Overlake Hospital in Bellevue, Wash., opened its new neuroscience institute, according to the Bellevue Reporter.

Here are four key notes:

 

1. The 7,000-square-foot institute will house Overlake’s neurology and neurosurgery clinics.

 

2. The institute’s physicians will offer treatments for conditions of the brain, spine and neurological system, including brain aneurysms, spinal problems and migraines.

 

3. Neurosurgeon Abhineet Chowdhary, MD, serves as the institute’s medical director.

 

4. Plans for the neuroscience institute have been in the works for last three years.
