Neurosurgeon Dr. Griff Harsh joins ownership group of MLS franchise

MLS franchise FC Cincinnati’s ownership group expanded Nov. 27 with the addition of neurosurgeon Griff Harsh, MD, and his wife, Meg Whitman.

Dr. Harsh is chair of the department of neurological surgery at UC Davis Health in Sacramento, Calif., and Ms. Whitman was CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise until 2018.

He focuses on innovative treatments of tumors of the brain, pituitary gland and skull base.

Dr. Harsh is a previous director of the Brain Tumor Center at the Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine and served in several national leadership positions, including president of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons as well as the Neurosurgical Society of America.
