Here are five things to know about the facility:
1. It’s a one-stop shop for patients to receive scoliosis treatment without traveling to multiple facilities. There are Rigo-Cheneau braces, Schroth physical therapy and the ultra-low-dose radiation EOS imaging technology at the facility.
2. Luke Stikeleather is the president of the facility, which he envisioned 25 years ago. The project came to fruition through a collaboration with Manuel Rigo, MD, from Barcelona. The center offers a holistic approach to scoliosis care.
3. The infrastructure is designed to treat local and out-of-town patients. The facility focuses on non-operative care and works with orthopedic surgeons to develop treatment.
4. Downey Hinrichs, a certified Schroth therapist for more than 20 years, is also a partner in the project. She has a special interest in boutique therapy and understands the treatment process.
5. Specialists are able to make braces at the center.
