- The University of California San Diego earned another Gold Seal of Approval for advanced certification in spine surgery from The Joint Commission.
- Sutter Health-owned Novato (Calif.) Community Hospital earned advanced certification in spine surgery from The Joint Commission.
- Macon-based OrthoGeorgia earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care for complex spine care.
- Binghamton, N.Y.-based United Health Services became the first program in Upstate New York to earn The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for spine surgery.
- Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark., earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for advanced certification in spine surgery.
- Fort Worth-based Texas Health Orthopedic Surgery Center Heritage is the first ASC to earn the advanced certification in spine surgery from The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
