Dr. Dennis attended Baylor College of Medicine, earning his medical degree in 1975. He stayed at the university for his internship and residency. He completed two fellowships. His first was at Texas Tech, where he directed the lower back pain clinic. He then was a part of the Leon Wiltse, M.D. Fellowship at the University of California, where he was a consultant to the lower back pain clinic.
Dr. Dennis was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in 1981. He serves as a fellow for the American Back Society, and is a member of several other professional societies.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Dennis is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
