Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Aruna Ganju of Northwestern Medicine

Aruna Ganju, MD, of Northwestern Center for Comprehensive Orthopaedic and Spine Care in Chicago, is a board-certified neurological surgeon whose areas of interest include areas spinal column and cord injury as well as tumors of the spinal column and cord.

Dr. Ganju has published lots of research, most recently including the article, “Minimally invasive thoracic decompression for multi-level thoracic pathologies,” published in the Journal for Clinical Neuroscience, with colleagues.

 

Dr. Ganju received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine before completing a residency in neurological surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Ganju also completed a fellowship in complex and reconstructive spine surgery at Northwestern McGaw / Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
