NeuroMetrix’s Quell Health Cloud gathered 1M+ hours of Quell therapy, health data: 5 key points

Waltham, Mass.-based NeuroMetrix’s Quell Health Cloud has successfully collected more than 1 million hours of Quell therapy and health data, as of Aug. 1.

Here are five key points:

 

1. A wearable therapeutic technology, Quell offers chronic pain patients relief without drugs.

 

2. Via a smartphone app, the device relates data on therapy utilization, sleep characteristics and activity levels. The Quell Health Cloud stores this data for analysis.

 

3. The Quell Health Cloud revealed consumers utilized Quell an average of six hours daily.

 

4. Most chronic pain patients experience low-quality sleep and 71 percent of Quell owners used the device while sleeping.

 

5. Those who wore Quell for at least four hours during daytime walked an average of 34 minutes per day with the device.
