Spine company Highridge Medical has been busy forging partnerships and advancing its technologies since the start of 2025.
Here are seven headlines to know:
1. Medical device manufacturer Osteotec has reached an exclusive distribution agreement with Highridge Medical.
2. Medical device manufacturer Highride Medical, one of the world’s largest privately held spine companies, is selling its bone healing division to focus exclusively on spine.
3. Spine company Highridge Medical has acquired three spine systems from Accelus. Highridge Medical added the FlareHawk and Toro expandable interbody fusion systems as well as the LineSider pedicle screw system.
4. Highridge Medical entered an exclusive distribution agreement for the PathKeeper navigation system in the U.S.
5. Highridge Medical entered a distribution agreement with SMAIO, a France-based medtech company.
6. The Activ-L lumbar artificial disc is back on the U.S. market under Highridge Medical, and its first cases under the company were completed in February.
7. UnitedHealthcare has expanded coverage to include medical device manufacturer Highridge Medical’s Tether, a vertebral body tethering system, effective April 1.
