Misonix’s SonicOne O.R. proves effective for wound debridement : 4 takeaways

Four clinical abstracts demonstrate Farmingdale, N.Y.-based Misonix’s SonicOne O.R.’s effectiveness.

1. SonicOne O.R. uses ultrasonic technology for wound debridement.

 

2. One study found SonicOne O.R. had a 90 percent success rate in the take of a skin graft when used to prepare the wound bed graft site.

 

3. Another study showed SonicOne O.R. decreased the bacterial load so a patient’s wound could heal.

 

4. Two other abstracts were also presented at the 2016 Diabetic limb Salvage Conference in Washington, D.C.

 

“As the clinical evidence continues to build, the opportunity exists to establish SonicOne O.R. as the gold standard for wound debridement,” said Scott Ludecker, senior vice president of global sales and marketing, Misonix.
