Medtronic Receives FDA Clearance on Posterior Fixation Spine System for Adolescent Scoliosis Patients

Medtronic has received FDA clearance for its TSRH Spinal System to treat adolescent idiopathic scoliosis with pedicle screws using a posterior approach, according to a Medtronic news release.

The TSRH Spinal System is the second posterior fixation system from Medtronic to receive FDA clearance for the AIS indication, and the only company cleared for pediatric AIS patients for treatment with posterior pedicle screw instrumentation.
