Maruho Medical acquires orthopedic device company

Maruho Medical recently acquired orthopedic surgical device company Valeris Medical in Marietta, Ga.

The acquisition expands Maruho Medical’s portfolio for soft tissue repair procedures. The full integration of the companies is effective immediately.

Mahuro Medical is the orthopedic subsidiary of Maruho Co., a Japanese manufacturing and research and development company focused on dermatological products. 

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
